The Heroes Tribute Band, the unique and diverse band dedicated to the legendary David Bowie, returns to Gazarte on January 9, following their first live performance in 2016. Taking place one day after the Starman’s birthday (January 8) and one day before his passing (January 10), the Heroes Tribute Band, specially formed to honor Bowie’s monumental legacy, will pay tribute by spotlighting the most iconic milestones of his career!

David Bowie was one of the most influential and groundbreaking artists of the 20th century. Known for his transformative personas, he fearlessly experimented with music and his image, leaving a significant mark on pop culture. One of the best-selling artists of all time, Bowie continued to reinvent himself and surprise audiences until the very end. His final album was released just two days before his death, leaving one last gift for his millions of fans.

The Heroes Tribute Band was formed nearly eight years ago following Bowie’s passing. Their debut live performance took place in May 2016 at Gazarte under the auspices of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), aiming to raise funds for refugee relief. Since then, the band has performed at various Bowie tribute events, drawing large crowds and receiving glowing reviews (at venues like Gagarin, Romantso, Athens Concert Hall, and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation).

Experience a one-of-a-kind evening with a carefully curated playlist that will chronologically and stylistically explore Bowie’s musical history, reminding us all why we will always love David Bowie.

• Located on the ground floor, the newly renovated stage offers a concert-style atmosphere full of energy.
• Seating: Standing layout, no tables or seating arrangements.
• Includes a balcony.
• Features two self-service bars within the space.
• Accessible for persons with disabilities, except for the balcony area.
• Smoking: Access to a garden area on the same level, adjacent to the venue.
• Entrance located at Voutadon Street.
