Dimitrios Vassilakis presents at Gazarte a selection of blues and ballads from his award-winning Candid records discography, including Christmas jazzy ballads like White Christmas, The Christmas Song, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Blue Moon.

Tunes he has recorded and played live with some of the best international jazz musicians like: Jeff “Tain” Watts, Essiet Essiet, Sylvia Cuenca, Ralph Peterson, Marc Johnson, Benito Gonzales, Theo Hill, Dave Kikoski, Abdullah Ibrahim.

An ongoing project to showcase the energy and impact of the blues and the emotional power of ballads.

Together with one of the strongest blues and jazz voices in Greece, Jennie Kapadai, Nassia Gofa and one of the young up and coming saxophonists Nestor Vassilakis for a blue Christmas night.
