The Black Lips, one of the last true, uncompromising rock bands, are returning to Greece!

The notorious Black Lips, one of the most unpredictable and explosive bands in the modern garage rock scene, are back in Greece for two unforgettable performances! On September 18, 2025, they will take the stage at Gazarte Ground Stage in Athens, and on September 20, 2025, they will shake up Eightball Club in Thessaloniki. Their reputation precedes their music, and it’s not uncommon to hear people raving about their live performances. These performances, fueled by their pure rock’n’roll spirit, have solidified their status as one of the rawest and most authentic bands in the genre.

Formed in Atlanta, Georgia, the Black Lips have established themselves as rebellious pioneers of the garage rock revival, blending punk vibes, psychedelic outbreaks, and country melodies into a unique, chaotic sound. Their high-energy live shows are always fueled by a wild atmosphere, and with ten studio albums under their belt, including their latest Apocalypse Love (2022), they remain a dedicated and highly productive musical unit, constantly evolving their sound. Their relentless experimental spirit has led them to explore everything from doom-glam and lo-fi acoustic punk to Morricone-esque soundscapes and even space-age pop, creating a bizarre mosaic of sonic influences.

Apocalypse Love (2022) takes them into even darker, yet still addictive sonic territories.
