The Swiss psychedelic/space-rock outfit Monkey3 returns to Greece for three captivating shows, bringing with them their new album “Welcome To The Machine,” released in February 2024 via Napalm Records. After more than two decades of activity, the Lausanne-based quartet continues to explore the boundaries of instrumental music, remaining one of the most distinctive and influential acts in the modern stoner and psychedelic rock scene.

“Welcome To The Machine” is Monkey3’s seventh studio album and perhaps their most ambitious work to date. A cosmic, cinematic journey built on progressive structures, melodic outbursts, and space-infused riffs that balance heaviness with melancholy. Inspired by films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Matrix, Sunshine, Solaris, and 1984, the album unfolds a dark yet thrilling story about humanity’s relationship with technology and machines — effectively serving as a soundtrack to an imaginary voyage into the unknown.

With tracks like “Rackman,” the album proves why Monkey3, since 2001, remain one of the few instrumental bands capable of storytelling without words — relying solely on riffs, rhythms, and immersive sonic landscapes. Their live shows are audiovisual experiences that mesmerize, featuring evocative visuals, cinematic lighting, and a sound that drifts between psychedelic, progressive, and doom elements.

Monkey3 return to Greece to transport us into their universe — where space rock meets stoner grooves, and psychedelia spirals inside a cauldron of guitar-driven heaviness and ecstatic arrangements.
