At the end of December, Lemmy — the ultimate rock’n’roll hellraiser of our lives — reaches 80 years from the day he came into the world and 10 years since he left us. The perfect moment for a serious party in his honor! On December 27th, Saturday night in the heart of the city, we’ll gather at Gazarte to blast his music loud and raise our glasses to him.

On stage, City Kids, the leading Greek Motörhead tribute band, together with guest musicians from the Greek scene — Dimosthenis Ioannou (Khirki), Manthos Stergiou (Calyces), and Vangelis Karzis (Full House Brew Crew) — as well as the bands Jacks Full and Dismiss, will play the greatest Lemmy tracks at full volume.

At the same time, DJ sets by Leonidas Arvanitis and Nikos Tragakis will cover the entire Lemmy universe, while video projections will remind us of some of his most iconic moments. The event will also feature Monsterville, with merch and material created especially for this occasion.

And because a night like this can’t end early, the party continues at Temple after midnight — free for all who attended Gazarte — to celebrate 20 years of Monsterville.

For us, this night will mean one thing: “Lemmy lives.”
