The Steams come to the Gazarte Ground Stage on Saturday, December 13, to present their new album VILE WONDERS live. Special guests: LOS TRE and the magician Fanua with his unique show!

VILE WONDERS is their third studio album and represents their most cohesive work to date. The first single, Arcadia, was released last June and immediately made an impression, while this past October came She’s in Sparkles, confirming that The Steams are ready for the next chapter of their story: more mature, more vulnerable, and more honest than ever. It is no coincidence that with their second single, the band also released their first official music video, directed by their guitarist Andreas Kokovikas. Shot on a miniDV camera during their first European tour, the video acts as a cinematic keepsake — a blurred diary of moments and life on the road.

VILE WONDERS will be released on all digital platforms on November 25, and will later be available on vinyl via Made of Stone Recordings.

The Steams are a psych-rock band from Athens. In 2018 they released their debut album Wild Ferment, beginning a journey that led them to multiple tours, two sold-out vinyl editions, and appearances at various Greek festivals. In June 2022 they released their second album Mild Conquest, a contemporary tragedy that broadened their sound beyond the boundaries of “classic” rock, blending traditional instruments, polyphonic vocals, and storytelling with groovy rhythms, massive guitars, and Dionysian outbursts. They have performed alongside The Cure, The Black Angels, Peter Murphy (Bauhaus), Khruangbin, Lumerians, and others.
