On Sunday, November 9, 2025, Gazarte Ground Stage will be set on fire as Turbonegro return to Athens! One of the most iconic bands ever to emerge from metal-loving Norway, known for their wild on-stage energy, provocative style, and instant-hit anthems that defined an entire generation, Turbonegro are coming for a night of chaos, sweat, and rock’n’roll euphoria!

Formed in Oslo in 1989, Turbonegro quickly gained a cult following thanks to their daring mix of punk fury, glam excess, and hard rock aesthetics. Their legendary albums Ass Cobra (1996) and Apocalypse Dudes (1998) solidified their reputation, earning them comparisons to names like The Stooges, Ramones, and Alice Cooper. Tracks like “Age of Pamparius” and “All My Friends Are Dead” inevitably became anthems of a whole era, giving the band a legendary status in the underground scene.

Despite breakups, reunions, and lineup changes, Turbonegro have never lost their edge, becoming one of the few bands with their own fan legions — the renowned Turbojugend. In this new era — from the explosive Scandinavian Leather (2003) and the stellar Party Animals (2005) to their latest RockNRoll Machine (2018) — they continue to provoke and deliver larger-than-life live performances that stay etched in the memories of those lucky enough to witness them. With the charismatic frontman Tony Sylvester — also known as the Duke of Nothing — leading the charge, the band remains a rock’n’roll powerhouse, a one-of-a-kind act that can’t be forgotten or replicated.
